What a family visit includes
Every routine appointment begins with a full soft-tissue and oral cancer screening, followed by digital imaging when it is due, a professional cleaning, and a fluoride application for patients who benefit from one.
You will leave with a plain-language summary: what looks healthy, what we are watching, and what needs attention now. We never bundle unnecessary treatment into a checkup, and we will always tell you when the right answer is to wait and monitor.
Children's dentistry done kindly
We recommend a first dental visit around a child's first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth. Early visits are short and mostly about familiarity — counting teeth, riding the chair, meeting the team.
Sealants and fluoride varnish do enormous preventive work in the six-to-twelve age range, and both are quick and painless. Learn more on our preventive care page.

- How often should my family come in for checkups?
- Most patients do best with a cleaning and exam every six months. Patients with gum disease, dry mouth, or a high cavity rate may be scheduled every three to four months.
- Can you see my children and me on the same day?
- Yes. Our front desk regularly blocks consecutive or overlapping appointments so families make one trip instead of three.
- What if my child is anxious about the dentist?
- Tell us in advance. We slow the visit down, explain each instrument before it is used, and stop the moment a child asks. Nothing is forced.
